SDSS J083717.22-000018.3 is a brown dwarf of the spectral class T0.5 in the constellation Water Snake . Its proper motion is ungejähr 170 milli-arcseconds per year with a position angle of about 185 degrees. Vrba et al. determined a parallax of (33.70 ± 13.45) mas. The object was described by Leggett et al. discovered in data from the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS).
