SF Said
SF Said (born May 1967 in Beirut ) is a British journalist and writer of Lebanese origin.
Said has lived in London since 1969 . After studying criminology at Cambridge University , he first worked as a journalist for the Daily Telegraph and received multiple awards for his articles. He programmed the Edinburgh Film Festival and was a judge for the Whitbread Children's Book Award before starting to write. His first children's book "Varjak Paw" (Eng. Titus Tatz ) won the 2003 Nestlé Smarties Book Prize , ages 6-8.
