SG Swimming Munster
The starting community swimming Münster (short: SG swimming Münster ) is an amalgamation of three main clubs.
history
Until 2005, the Münsterländer swam in the 1st Bundesliga . In 2000 Ina Hüging started the 200 m breaststroke at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney. In 2018/2019 the first two women's and men's teams swim in the 2nd Bundesliga West.
The team was named Team of the Year by the Sports Association of the City of Münster at the Ball des Sports in 1998, 1999, 2002 and 2003.
The parent clubs
The swimming association Münster 1891 , the Turnverein Handorf and the Turn- und Sportverein Hiltrup form the starting community.
