The Bad Wimsbach 1933 sports club is a football club from Bad Wimsbach-Neydharting in Upper Austria in the Wels-Land district . The club belongs to the Upper Austrian Football Association (OÖFV) and has been playing in the fifth highest performance level, the Landesliga West, since the 2018/19 season.
history
SK Bad Wimsbach was founded in 1933. From 1945 they finally took part in the championship operation. After years in the lowest divisions, you could become champions of the District League South in the 2005/06 season and thus move up to the fifth-rate Landesliga West . After three seasons, however, you had to relegate back to the district league. In the 2012/13 season they became runner-up behind ASV St. Marienkirchen and finally won the relegation against Union Mondsee and still rose.
In the 2015/16 season Bad Wimsbach won the final of the Baunti Landescup against SV Grieskirchen and was thus allowed to participate in the ÖFB Cup . In the first round of the 2016/17 ÖFB Cup , they played against the regional league team SV Austria Salzburg . The game was won 3-1. In the 2nd round they were eliminated with a 5-0 defeat against Bundesliga club SK Sturm Graz .
After the 2016/2017 season they were relegated and had to return to the Upper Austrian District League.

Between 1977 and 1978, a playing field with a west stand and clubhouse was built. Between 1993 and 1994, a training ground with escape lighting was also built. The east stand was also built between 2004 and 2006. The Hofmaninger Stadium has a capacity of around 4,000 spectators. Of these, 600 seats are covered and around 3400 are standing.
