The FC Steinach is an Austrian football club from the town of Steinach in District Innsbruck-Land in Tyrol and has split off in 2016 from SC Steinach. The sports club played from 1970 to 1974 in the Landesliga Tirol, a league of what was then the third Austrian division. The fighting team plays in the District League West.

The ski section of the Steinach sports club was established in 1910. It is not known whether the club and the football department were founded in the same year.
According to initial records, the sports club played under the name SK Steinach from 1970 to 1974 in the Tyrolean regional league.
At the end of the 1980s, the club was in the Landesliga West and was promoted to the Tyrolean League for one year in 1990. In 1999 the Steinachers won the championship title in the Landesliga West and played in the Tyrolean League until 2002. In 2006 he was relegated to the Regional League West. The Wipptaler have been playing in the District League West since 2007.
In 2016 the separation from SC Steinach took place and the soccer department became independent as FC Steinach.
