The Sports Club Strong was a Norwegian sports club from Oslo , which was best known for its ice hockey department .
history
SK Strong was founded on May 1, 1915. The club's ice hockey department was one of the founding members of the top Norwegian league in the 1934/35 season . The greatest success in the club's history was winning the Norwegian championship title in the 1947/48 season . In 1952 the club merged with the Ball og Skiklubben av 1914 and the SK Spero . The Grüner IL was created through the merger of the three clubs .
In addition to ice hockey, SK Strong also had a bandy and soccer department.
