from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

SME Global is a politically center-right think tank that deals in particular with the topic of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The organization serves as a network for politicians whose parties are members of the International Democratic Union . It was founded in 2003 by the EU MP Paul Rübig , who is currently elected President of the organization. Well-known personalities of the think tank are also the former Australian Prime Minister John Howard , the former US Congressman Donald Manzullo and the former Slovak Finance Minister Ivan Mikloš .

With the support of the organization, small and medium-sized companies should be better prepared to survive in an increasingly intense competition on a global level.
