The BB 36000 is a French electric locomotive series.
The locomotives of the BB 36000 series are mainly used by SNCF for cross-border freight traffic. They represent a further development of the BB 26000 series and were equipped with a triple headlights from the start . Since December 2011, the machines have also been running on the French section of the Paris - Venice connection in the passenger traffic of the private operator Thello .
