SQuirreL SQL Client is a graphical tool for connecting to databases . The connection to different database types using JDBC - drivers . It runs on all platforms on which a Java VM is available. The source code is written in Java and is published under the open source license LGPL .
In addition to the usual functionalities such as sending SELECT or ALTER statements , you can also change the data of the individual data records directly via the program without having to write SQL statements yourself. The program also enables the graphical display of tables and their relationships to one another, so that you can get a good overview of the database structure in this way. There are language versions in Bulgarian, Chinese, German, English, French, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Spanish and Czech.
