The company name (company) is the abbreviation for Seton Scholl London International . The company was listed on the London Stock Exchange in the FTSE 250 index until it was taken over by Reckitt Benckiser .

Company history

The company was formed in May 1999 through the merger of Seton Scholl (which was formed in June 1998 through the merger of Seton Healthcare and Scholl) and London International Group (formerly the London Rubber Company , the manufacturer of Durex ). The first CEO of SSL - Stuart Wallis - was responsible for bringing the two companies together . Stuart Wallis left the company in 2001.

From 2002 to 2004 the company sold all medical and industrial sectors in order to concentrate on the core business. In 2009 the product K.LAUS (no louse) was launched in the trade.

In 2010 the company was bought by Reckitt Benckiser (RB). At that time, RB owned brands such as Durex, Finish, Air Wick, Vanish, Dettol, Scholl, Nurofen and Veet.

The company has subsidiaries and factories in thirty countries in the United Kingdom , the Channel Islands, Spain , China , India and Thailand .
