The SSV Glött is a sports club from the Swabian municipality Glött . The club was originally founded as a football club. Today he has additional departments for tennis and gymnastics.
history
The club played almost continuously in the leagues at the Swabian district level from the late 1970s. In 1980 the club was promoted to the Bavarian regional league once , but after one season it was down again.
The greatest sporting success in 1978 as the Swabian Cup winner was qualifying for the DFB Cup . In the first main round they lost 0: 5 to Bundesliga club Bayern Munich . The game was played in Gundelfingen on the Danube .
