The SSV Textima Chemnitz is a German football club from Chemnitz-Erfenschlag .

history

Textima Erfenschlag was founded in 1930 under the name ATSV Erfenschlag , but later only appeared as TV Erfenschlag until 1945 . The workers' club initially played no role in the championship of the ATSB or in higher-class Saxon football. Only in 1944 were Erfenschlag briefly integrated into the Gauliga Sachsen with the also lower-class FC Preussen Chemnitz and Viktoria Einsiedel , but the game came to a standstill after a few match days.

After 1945 the association was re-established as SG Erfenschlag . The sports group only played in the Chemnitz district class in 1947/48, the highest possible division at the time. Subsequently, Chemnitz quickly sank into insignificance, a participation in the third-class district league Karl-Marx-Stadt from 1952 only succeeded in 1956 as BSG Motor Textima Schönau. After relegation from the fourth-rate district league in 1968, a re-promotion was no longer successful until the end of the GDR. The BSG started in 1957 as a company sports association Aufbau Mitte Karl-Marx-Stadt and from 1977 again as Motor Textima Schönau . The BSG played on the sports field Neubauernweg (today the youth center of Chemnitzer FC ) outside the premises of the industrial plant Karl-Marx-Stadt .

After the reunification, the club, which always played under-class, changed its name to SSV Textima Chemnitz . Current league is the district league A Chemnitz.
