SSV Undine 08
The swimming sports club Undine 08 (SSV Undine 08) was founded on August 4, 1908 under the name Mainzer Schwimm-Gesellschaft Undine 1908 initially as a pure swimming club in Mainz . The name goes back to Undine (mythology) . Today, in addition to the swimming department, the club has a boating department in which sailing and motor boating are practiced.
With the change of Angela Maurer , Dimitri Colupaev , Marc-Oliver Stein and the trainer Nikolai Evseev from SG EWR Rheinhessen to SSV Undine 08, the club, which until then had been more broadly oriented, has been successfully involved in top-class sport since the turn of the year 2008/2009.
