Dimitri Colupaev
Dimitri Colupaev (born January 29, 1990 in Chișinău , Moldavian SSR , Soviet Union ) is a German swimmer .
Colupaev won gold at the European Junior Championships in 2007 and 2008 with the 4 x 100 meter freestyle relay. At the Junior World Championships in 2008 he won the 200 meter medley and won silver with the 4 × 200 m freestyle relay.
At the European Championships in Debrecen in 2012 , the German relay won the title in the 4 × 200 m freestyle relay with Paul Biedermann , Dimitri Colupaev, Clemens Rapp and Tim Wallburger . At the 2012 Olympic Games in London, the German quartet took fourth place with the same cast. In the same year, Colupaev won the bronze medal with the German relay team at the 2012 Short Track World Championships in a German record time.
The 1.89 m tall Dimitri Colupaev, who came to Germany from Moldova in 1995, swims for SSV Undine 08 . He is studying business administration at the University of Southern California and training with Dave Salo.
