Clemens Andreas Rapp (born July 14, 1989 in Weingarten ) is a German swimmer .

Rapp won gold with the 4-by-100-meter freestyle relay and silver with the 4-by-200-meter freestyle relay at the 2007 European Junior Championships. Rapp made his first start in a major international championship at the swimming world championships in 2009 , he finished fifth in the 4 x 200 meter freestyle relay. At the European Championships 2010 , Rapp reached the individual finals over 400 meters freestyle and took seventh place; As the final swimmer of the 4 x 200 meter freestyle relay , he won the silver medal behind the Russian relay together with Paul Biedermann , Tim Wallburger and Robin Backhaus . Two years later, the German relay won the line-up of Paul Biedermann, Dimitri Colupaev , Clemens Rapp and Tim Wallburger the title in the 4 x 200 meter freestyle relay at the European Championships in Debrecen. At the 2012 Olympic Games in London, he was fourth with the season. In 2013 he became German champion in the 200 m and 400 m freestyle and thus qualified over 200 m and with the 4 x 200 freestyle relay for the 2013 World Swimming Championships in Barcelona. At the 2015 World Swimming Championships in Kazan , he reached the final of the 400 m freestyle and was seventh in 3: 48.52 minutes.

The 1.92 m tall Rapp swims for the Neckarsulmer Sport Union, he trains under national coach Hannes Vitense at the Rhine-Neckar Olympic base in Heidelberg and Neckarsulm. Clemens Rapp ended his active career in high-performance sport in spring 2019. He studied industrial engineering at the SRH University of Heidelberg and now works as a project manager at ONEflow in Stuttgart. He has a brother and a sister.
