Old district court Vohenstrauss
The old district court is a listed former courthouse in Vohenstrauss , a town in the Neustadt an der Waldnaab district in Upper Palatinate ( Bavaria ).
history
By decision of the Bavarian government on March 10, 1809, the seat of the regional court, which had previously been sitting in Burgtreswitz , was relocated to Vohenstrauß. The official seat of the court was an outbuilding of Schloss Friedrichsburg . In the Weimar Republic the regional court was moved to Weiden, Vohenstrauss became the seat of a local court.
In 1990 the district court was moved to a building on Pfarrgasse. The old district court has been unused since then.
