ST 16
The Short Title Catalog of the 16th century prints in the holdings of the Berlin State Library - Prussian Cultural Heritage ( ST 16 ) is a library catalog that records the entire inventory of 16th century printed works at the Berlin State Library .
In contrast to the database VD 16 , which only records prints from the 16th century that were published in the German-speaking area, printed works are contained in ST 16 regardless of language or place of printing. In addition, there is a separate set of rules for cataloging in ST 16 . Among other things, information on printers , translators , illustrators , bindings , book and item decorations , provenances and fingerprints are recorded.
Since 2009, the data in the catalog has been integrated into the joint GVK union catalog and, if necessary, merged with the national bibliographical data of VD 16 .
