The SV Memmelsdorf / Ufr. is a football club from Memmelsdorf in Lower Franconia, a district of the municipality of Untermerzbach .
The association was founded in 1946. The club experienced a little sporting high-altitude flight in the 1970s, when it became champion of the B-class in 1975 and of the A-class in 1977 and thus rose to the Lower Franconian district league for the first time. In the 1982/83 season, the SV Memmelsdorf landed in second place in the district league and just missed promotion to the Northern League in two qualifying games . 1992 followed the descent from the district league.
The greatest sporting success, however, was participation in the DFB Cup in 1978 . In the first main round, the team was defeated by the NRW upper division club 1. FC Bocholt with 1: 8.
The former Bundesliga player Torsten Oehrl played in the youth team of SV Memmelsdorf from 1993 to 1996.
Since 2008 the club has been merged with the neighboring club VfL Untermerzbach in the SVM Untermerzbach gaming community .
