Torsten Oehrl (born January 7, 1986 in Lichtenfels ) is a former German soccer player and today's soccer coach .
Career
societies
Oehrl comes from the Itzgründer Gemeindeteil Bodelstadt in Coburg . In his youth he played at SV Memmelsdorf / Ufr. , at SV Hallstadt and finally at Eintracht Bamberg . At the age of 17 he then moved to SpVgg Greuther Fürth in Middle Franconia .
After a successful time in the youth teams, during which he was appointed six times to the U-18 and U-19 national teams, Oehrl made the leap to Greuther Fürth's second team in the 2005/06 season. There the center forward scored eight goals in 16 games and was used five times in the first team in the 2nd Bundesliga . The 2006/07 season was similar at first, Oehrl played in Greuther Fürth's fourth-class second team and was in the extended squad of professionals, where he also made four appearances.
In February 2007 he moved for the remainder of the season on loan to Kickers Offenbach , the club against which he had scored his first professional goal three months earlier. For the 2007/08 season, Oehrl was loaned to Eintracht Braunschweig for one year before moving to Werder Bremen II for the 2008/09 season. He made his Bundesliga debut on May 10, 2009 in a game against Hamburger SV . At the beginning of July 2009 he was awarded a professional contract by Werder Bremen. The contract duration was two years.
On October 28, 2009 Oehrl played his first competitive game for the professionals. In the round of 16 of the DFB Cup 2009/10 he also scored his first competitive goal for Werder against 1. FC Kaiserslautern with the goal to make it 3-0.
During the winter break of 2009/10, he moved - initially on loan until the end of the season - to the 2nd Bundesliga for Fortuna Düsseldorf . From the 2010/11 season he played for FC Augsburg . He received a two-year contract with the Swabians. In his first second division game for FC Augsburg, he scored a goal in a 4-1 away win at FC Ingolstadt 04 . On December 11, 2010, Oehrl scored a goal by side pull in a competitive game against FSV Frankfurt , which was voted Goal of the Month . On December 17, 2011 (17th matchday) he also scored his first Bundesliga goal in a 1-1 away game against Hamburger SV with the opening goal.
For the 2013/14 season , Oehrl returned to Eintracht Braunschweig. He signed a contract that ran until June 30, 2016 and made his first appearance on August 10, 2013 (1st match day). After he had played his way into the first half of the season, a tendon tear in his right ankle threw him back.
For the 2015/16 season , Oehrl moved to third division club SV Wehen Wiesbaden , for whom he scored eight goals in 24 games. After the end of the season, he asked for his contract to be terminated and joined the second team of FC Bayern Munich , for whom he won the 2-1 home game against FC Memmingen on September 16, 2016 (11th matchday) - with Karl as a substitute -Heinz Lappe in the 72nd minute - made his debut. As of July 31, 2017, his contract with FC Bayern Munich, which originally ran until 2019, was terminated.
Since the beginning of the 2018/2019 season he was the coach of 1. FC Oberhaid. After the 13th matchday and a series of defeats, he resigned from his position in October 2018.
National team
Oehrl was a national player in 2004 and played two international matches for the U-18 national team , in which he scored a goal. For the U-19 national team he came to four missions, where he made his debut on September 15 in the 0-2 defeat against the selection of Spain .
