Saʿsaʿ ( Arabic سعسع, DMG Saʿsaʿ ; also Saasaa ) is a place in Syria . It is located in the southwest of Damascus not far from the Golan Heights with Mount Hermon . Saʿsaʿ is also an administrative administrative unit of 17 places with a total of 45,233 inhabitants and belongs to the Qatana district ( Minṭaqat Qaṭana ) in the Rif Dimaschq governorate . The neighborhoods are Kafr Hawar to the north, Kanakir to the east, Durin to the southwest and Dair Makir to the south. In 2004, Saʿsaʿ had 9,945 inhabitants, according to research by the Central Statistics Office.
