Sa Perda Longa

The area of Sa Perda Longa (also Sa Perdalonga) near Bari Sardo in the province of Nuoro in Sardinia includes several menhirs .

This includes a row of three stones, the tallest of which is wide and flat and has a triangular enlarged base. It is 4.1 m high and 1.4 m wide, including the base.

Menhirs stand on a slight slope about 150 m away. The largest is surrounded by rocks on which the people who visited the square performed ceremonies.

Nearby are other menhirs and stones that may have been altars, some of which have bowls , and prenuraghic remains of a giant grave . The giant grave is made of large stones and has an 8.3 m long, rectangular chamber with an apse. It is surrounded by curbs that supported the earth wall that covered it. Such monuments are around 2000 BC. BC originated.
