The Perdas Longas ( German for  the long stones ) of Guspini are two menhirs that are located on sardines near the industrial area of ​​Guspini in the province of Sud Sardegna .

The taller , 2.6 m high menhir is called "Sa Sennoredda" ( German for the lady ) in Sardinian and represents the mother goddess. Compared to the other menhir, it is stocky and has soft, rounded edges including the top. The stone, made of pink granite , is characterized by small bowls carved into several sides.  

The smaller 1.8 m high menhir represents the bull god. It has a slimmer shape and a pointed end. The pink granite stone is slightly inclined.

The menhirs attributed to the Ozieri culture (3200–2800 BC) represent the mother goddess and the bull god, symbols that are also used for other prehistoric Sardinian monuments such as the Domus de Janas , where they are represented in the form of protomes and in plan of the giant graves are characteristic.

Nearby are the Domus de Janas di Bruncu Maddeus.

Legend

A legend is associated with the menhirs, according to which Sa Sennoredda and her companion were two lovers who were caught by surprise when they tried to flee to pursue their forbidden dream.
