Saarepeedi is a rural municipality in the Estonian district of Viljandi with an area of 98.3 km². It has 1234 inhabitants (as of February 2, 2010).
In addition to the main town Saarepeedi (370 inhabitants), the rural community includes the villages of Aindu, Auksi, Karula, Kokaviidika, Moori, Peetrimõisa, Saarepeedi, Taari, Tobraselja, Tõnissaare, Välgite and Võistre.
The triangular castle hill of Naanu with its rampart 7 m high is of archaeological interest. Judging by the ceramics and jewelry that archaeologists unearthed there, the fortress was abandoned in the early 13th century.
