Sab Champa

Sab Champa ( Thai : ซับ จำปา ) is an archaeological site in Lop Buri Province .

Location and excavation history

Sab Champa is located in Amphoe Tha Luang , Lop Buri province, in central Thailand, and forms one of two moat-surrounded squares in central Thailand from the time before the emergence of the Dvaravati culture.

Finds

M. Veerapan carried out successful excavations in Sab Champa in the 1970s, uncovering prehistoric graves. Pottery and molds for bronze goods also came to light.
