Sabina Kienlechner

Sabina Kienlechner (* 1948 ) is a German essayist , publicist and translator .

Life

She grew up in Rome and studied German literature , philosophy and musicology at the Albert Ludwig University in Freiburg im Breisgau . In 1978 she received her doctorate in literature and philosophy with the grade summa cum laude . In the following years she worked as an editor for the newspaper " Mannheimer Morgen ". In 1985 she moved to Rome as a freelance essayist, screenwriter and translator. She has lived in Berlin since 1995 .
