Sabine Koehne

Sabine Köhne or Sabine Köhne-Kayser (born November 26, 1959 in Lübeck ) is a German sports presenter and former swimmer.

As one of the best German back swimmers in 1976, almost called up in the German squad for the Summer Olympics in Montreal , Koehne, who was studying to be a teacher, later embarked on a career as a sports journalist. At first between 1981 and 1985 she worked as a freelancer for various TV production companies, from 1985 to 1991 she was employed as a sports editor at WDR, first in Dortmund, then in Cologne. She then switched to ZDF . There she moderated the sport news today and the sport news in the midday magazine. She also presented the ZDF sports report , Sport am Sonntag and Sport Extra . She reported on the Summer Olympic Games in Barcelona and other major events and finally switched to DSF in 1996, where she was mainly used in motorsport until 2001. In total, she moderated more than 4,000 programs during her time as a sports presenter. In 2001 she founded her own film and television production and media consultancy company, MEDIAengineers GmbH.
