Saburō Ishikura

Saburō Ishikura ( Japanese 石 倉 三郎 , Ishikura Saburō ; born December 16, 1946 in the prefecture of Kagawa , Japan as 石 原 三郎 , Ishihara Saburō ) is a Japanese actor who mainly through his role as an advisor to Ishikura in the broadcast Takeshi's Castle in Europe got known.

Life

His career began with the series Usawa no keiji: Tomy & Matsu . After a few minor roles, he later worked on several films by Takeshi Kitano . They first worked together as an actor in the film Tears Behind Laughing (Kanashii kibun de joke) under the director Masaharu Segawa in 1985, where he played the supporting role of Rokusuke Sagawa . Some other well-known films of her collaboration with Takeshi Kitano as director are Asakusa Kid from 2002, in which he played the boss Ogi and Zatoichi - The Blind Samurai from 2003.

In the show Takeshi's Castle he took on the role of the devious advisor Ishikura for 44 episodes and arranged all the games on behalf of the prince until he fell into the disfavor of the prince and was replaced by Sonommama Higashi .

In 2001 he played the role of Kumagoro in the award-winning film Kah-chan . This won the Award of the Japanese Academy and the Nikkan Sports Film Award . In a 40-part series Obanzai! he played the role of Tako in 2007 .
