Sachsendorf is a district of the town of Eisfeld in the Hildburghausen district in Thuringia .
history
The village was first mentioned in a document in 1317. On July 1, 1950, the previously independent villages Schwarzenbrunn and Sachsendorf were merged. The local council at that time agreed on the name Sachsenbrunn . On January 1, 2019, Sachsendorf came to the city of Eisfeld as part of the incorporation of Sachsenbrunn.
