The film begins in the 18th century when a young couple mourns the death of their son. Mother Heather is so desperate about the death of her child that she no longer has any sexual interest in her husband Jean. So this one finds comfort in the arms of another woman. However, the two are caught by Heather and she shoots them both in a rage. A short time later she also takes her own life. Then you see the two women risen again and together with some other souls in a big house.
