The Sadler Stacks are rocky outcrops in the northwest of the West Antarctic Seymour Island . They tower on the south side of the Silent Valley .
Polish scientists named it in 1999. It is named after the sedimentologist Peter M. Sadler from the Institute of Geosciences at the University of California, Riverside .
