Sadriddin Aini Museum
The Sadriddin Aini Museum is a museum in the Uzbek city of Samarkand dedicated to the Tajik poet Sadriddin Aini (1878-1954).

The building that now houses the museum dates back to the 18th century and is in the immediate vicinity of the magnificent Registan Square . In the first half of the 20th century, Aini lived with his family in the building intermittently for about 35 years. He had previously had to leave the city of Bukhara due to conflicts with Alim Khan , the then Emir of Bukhara .
In 2017 the museum was closed for two years in order to carry out necessary renovations .
exhibition
The exhibition in the Sadriddin Aini Museum is intended to give insights into the life and work of the famous poet. Photos, posters and the original furnishings of two of Aini's study rooms convey impressions of an intellectual household in Samarkand in the early 20th century. In addition, Aini's work is related to other writers of his time. Guided tours are offered in Russian .
