Saen Mueang Ma (also: Saenmueangma ; Thai : แสน เมือง มา , about 100,000 countries come ; †  1401 ) was the 7th king of the Mengrai dynasty of Lan Na in northern Thailand between 1385 and 1401 . The name is an allusion to the numerous gifts of honor that his father Kue Na received from many territories in Southeast Asia and China on the occasion of his birth.

After the death of his father, Saen Mueang Ma ascended the throne in 1385 and first had to defend himself against his uncle Thao Maha Phrom, who was installed as ruler of Chiang Rai and tried to take the capital Chiang Mai . After Ayutthaya he had turned to King Borommaracha I for help, whose troops arrived in the north in 1386 and tried in vain to capture and plunder Lampang . Maha Phrom later broke with Ayutthaya and Saen Mueang Ma sent him back to Chiang Rai as administrator.

In 1387 a request for help from Sukhothai reached Lan Na, but shortly afterwards the troops from Sukhothai turned against Lan Na. As often as possible, Saen Mueang Ma tried to expand his empire south. Eventually he ended all acts of war and turned to religion. In 1391 he had Wat Chedi Luang built. Later he ordered the gilding of the stupa of Wat Phrathat Hariphunchai with 252 kg of gold.

Saen Mueang Ma died in Chiang Mai in 1401. He was followed by his son Sam Fang Kaen, born in 1389 .
