The Sage Nunatakker are two ice-free nunatakkers on the Dufek coast of the Antarctic Ross Dependency . They tower north of Mount Justman and the Gabbro Hills on the southern edge of the Ross Ice Shelf .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named them in 1966 after Richard H. Sage, a construction worker in the United States Navy , who had been part of the winter team at Byrd Station in 1959 and to those at Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station in 1964 .
