Sakrapee Thongsari ( Thai : ศักดิ์ ระ พี ทอง สา ริ ; * June 23, 1962 ) is a former Thai badminton player .

Athletic career

In 1996 Sakrapee Thongsari started in men's doubles with Pramote Teerawiwatana at the Olympics . In the first round they both had a bye. In the second game they were defeated by Simon Archer and Chris Hunt from England with 7:15 and 5:15 and thus finished ninth in the final standings.

He won nationally for the first time at the Thai championships in 1986 in men's doubles with Sawei Chanseorasmee . Both were able to defend the title in 1987 and 1988. In 1987 Chanseorasmee and Thongsari won the German Open. In 1995 Sakrapee Thongsari and Pramote Teerawiwatana won the men's double title at the Malaysian Open . Thongsari took part in the Badminton World Cup in 1985 in men's singles, but was eliminated in the first round against Mike Butler .
