Salamis (mythology)
Salamis ( Greek Σαλαμίς ) is a naiad of Greek mythology .
She is a daughter of the river god Asopos and wife of Panopeus , mother of Kychreus from Poseidon . She is considered to be the namesake of the island of Salamis .
