Sally Nyolo
Sally Soleïnie Nyolo (* 1963 in Eyen-Meyong , Lekié , Center ) is a Cameroonian singer who is regarded as an important representative of Bikutsi music. She sings mainly in her native Eton .
Life
Nyolo grew up as the daughter of a diplomat in a village in Cameroon and from the age of thirteen in Paris . Since 1982 she was a background singer in several bands until she became a member of the band Zap Mama in 1993 . She started her solo career in 1996 with the release of her album Tribu . A jury led by Manu Katché recorded Tribu 1997 with the Prix Découverte of the radio station Radio France Internationale from.
