action

Salto Kommunale is the continuation of the sitcom Salto Postale : The former postal worker Wolfgang Stankoweit works in the municipal administration of Niederbörnicke after the post office has closed . After the end of his probationary period, he has to put up with a lot under the headstrong mayor Ingrid Schikaneder ( Angelika Milster ), because he wants to have a say in the community himself. Rudi Reschke, as a colleague of Stankoweits, watches the distribution of offices and holds back his friend, Wolle , wherever possible. Bureaucracy problems and developments in East German offices after the fall of the Wall are dealt with in cabaret style in the series. Maximilian Mäßig was later elected mayor and was in no way inferior to his predecessor in torturing his subordinates.

Characters

Wolfgang Wolle Stankoweit

Stankoweit is the typical employee in a municipal office. He constantly wants to get a higher salary or better working conditions for himself and his friend Rudi . Stankoweit knows how to hide some criticism behind the words, which the stubborn and headstrong bosses usually do not notice, but the audience does. In addition, there is also the running gag introduced in Salto Postale of asking members of the federal government by phone , which briefly interrupts the actual action.

Rudi Reschke

Rudi Reschke is a loser type, he doesn't want to get any further in his job and is often seduced by the charms and the new opportunities after the fall of the Wall, thanks to Stankoweit's control and his perspective, Reschke falls deep now and then, but never really. After all, Reschke is just waiting for his pension, because life is already too much for him beforehand. When Stankoweit takes on politics again, Reschke tries to slow him down, which he never succeeds. So Reschke does not change to his appearance in Salto Postale .

Ingrid Schikaneder

Ingrid Schikaneder is the mayor and direct superior of Stankoweit and Reschke . The mayor wants to sell common land in order to get money. For this purpose she hires an administrative specialist, it is Stankoweit's former boss Maximilian Mäßig . Soon after memories of the time at the post office there were renewed power struggles. At first it was moderate and he fled, but from the second season onwards, Mäßig was elected the new mayor and the dispute began all over again .
