Somersault Kukenan

The Salto Kukenan , Salto Kukenaam or Salto Cuquenán is a non-permanent waterfall that rises on the plateau of the Kukenam-Tepui (2650 m) in the Canaima National Park in Bolívar , Venezuela and flows as the Río Cuquenán into the Río Caroní . The Kukenan-Tepui is a twin table mountain of the Roraima-Tepui (2810 m), which became famous through the novel The Forgotten World by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and numerous film adaptations. The Roraima Formation is the remnant of the ancient continent of Gondwana .

During the popular six-day trek from Paratepui village to Roraima-Tepui, the waterfall is within sight.
