Peter von Haller

Peter von Haller (born June 26, 1961 in Munich ) is a German cameraman .

Live and act

He grew up in Kempten in the Allgäu and attended the Allgäu-Gymnasium Kempten there . After graduating from high school, he studied art history, philosophy and psychology at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich .

After completing an internship in the Bavaria Ateliers in 1985 in the production, editing, equipment and camera departments, he gained his first experience as a material assistant and later as a camera assistant with Joseph Vilsmaier and Gernot Roll . In 1988 she made her first short films. He has been working as a freelance cameraman since 1992. He is a member of the Federal Camera Association (BVK) and the German Film Academy.
