action
Once again, friends Günther Kuballa and Wolfgang Krettek, both Hartz IV recipients, try to escape unemployment. They want to open a t-shirt printing shop and hope to get 4000 euros in start-up capital, which Ms. Gottschalk, her clerk at the Dortmund job center, will provide. But Ms. Gottschalk is not very enthusiastic about this project and would rather put them both in two new courses. Frustrated by the rejection of her T-shirt idea, Günther smeared Ms. Gottschalk's car with white paint, which he then regrets and begins to wipe away the smear again. At that moment, however, Ms. Gottschalk appears and storms angrily towards Günther. She does not pay attention to the traffic and if Wolfgang had not thrown the woman to the ground with presence of mind, she would have been hit by a truck. Out of gratitude, she slips Günther a piece of paper that she had recently received by chance. On it are the questions that will be asked in the next issue in a television quiz and where a lot of money can be won. Since her rescuers only need 4,000 euros, she tears off the note in the appropriate place and keeps the rest. Günther and Wolfgang now enjoy not only the media reports about their heroic deed, but also the anticipation of the expected profit over a nicely fried schnitzel . When you arrive at the media company, the first challenge is to be selected as a candidate for the next program. Fortunately, the newspaper report is also known here, which helps the two and they actually get selected. After Günther and Wolfgang have properly prepared for the "quizz double", they go to the television studio optimistically. They confidently manage the three questions until the airtime comes to an end and Günther single-handedly decides to continue playing. Since this was not agreed, Wolfgang gets stressed with his wife and he temporarily moves with Günther. This has the advantage that they can learn intensively in order to be well prepared for the next broadcast. Wolfgang's daughter Jessica helps them both and realizes that without knowing the answers they will hardly have a chance. So they decide to visit Ms. Gottschalk in the hospital to get the rest of the note. But the strict officer refuses, which she then feels sorry for after a while. She attends the live broadcast of “Quizzdoppel” and takes an active part in the fate of both of them. Since they can solve the next question with the help of Wolfgang's wife as a telephone joker, Ms. Gottschalk is then relieved, but Günther is persuaded by the moderator to continue playing and so she helps with a cough in the right place that Günther and Wolfgang now win 16,000 euros . Through their short-term participation in the quizz show, the actually intended candidates become jealous, spy on their competitors and report them to the television station's editorial office. During the first participation it was noticed that the answers were given very quickly and precisely. When checking the TV recording, Ms. Gottschalk's coughing can be clearly heard. Günther and Wolfgang are called to the transmitter to clarify the matter. Although they deny having acted illegally, the evidence against the two cannot be refuted. But since one is not interested in a scandal, the editors want to let the whole thing rest if Günther and Wolfgang agree to donate the money won to a charitable cause. Since they can determine this purpose themselves, a football field for the children is now being built in the residential area where the two live . For Günther this is an affair of the heart, because the son of a roommate whom he likes very much is a passionate soccer player and so Günther hopes to have better chances with "his" Johanna.
Günther and Wolfgang are pleased to see their competitors, who were able to move up in the “quizz double” because they were eliminated, fail in the final question, which, of all things, was a seal question and which Günther could of course have answered.

Reviews
Tilmann P. Gangloff from tittelbach.tv rated the film positively: “It is not without good reason that viewers and critics often suspect that the same story is being told again - only slightly varied - when it comes to sequels. That may even be the case for 'Schnitzel always goes', but in this special case the low variation is a particular strength of the film. ”“ The aesthetic distance that comedies are often said to be maintained [...] with' Schnitzel always goes ' within limits. These 'stand-up meals', as director Wolfgang Murnberger calls them, are funny and, as it were, close to us viewers. "
The critics of the TV magazine TV Spielfilm point with the “thumbs up” and said: “Like 'Schnitzel for three' and 'Schnitzel for everyone', the third part of the series also lives from the lovable main characters with their rough edges. Despite the unrealistic story, the dialogues always remain authentic and funny. "
Oliver Jungs from the FAZ was of the opinion: “The stand-ups are back. The two Hartzer with heart, who do not let themselves get down by permanent failure ", have" unlike most cardboard noses who usually parade across the screen, [...] actually give something. "Namely:" To see opportunities in all developments has finally become as rare in our troubled times as the ability to digest setbacks or to believe with the clearest conscience that you can make it. "" The subtle, real-life comedy from Pistor & Rohde and the high-dose optimism from Krettek & Kuballa , all of which results in a top-class antidepressant. "
