Brothers III - On the Camino de Santiago

Brothers II is a 2003 film . The film is a tragicomedy and the second part of an Austrian film - trilogy , in collaboration with ARTE was produced. The first part of the trilogy is Brothers of 2002, the third is Brothers III - On the Camino de Santiago from 2005.

Celebrity chef Ernst "Ernstl" gives up his gourmet restaurant and receives his own gourmet program on television. His older brother Ludwig "Wickerl" opened his own restaurant, released from prison, and fell in love with Iris, Ernstl's ex-partner and mother of his twins. Adrian went among the authors, he processed the story of his brothers in a novel of the same name. He also has private problems, he has to choose between his long-time partner Michael and his new love Daniel. When Michael puts him in front of the door, Adrian moves into Wickerl's old parents' house, and Adrian also supports his older brother in his restaurant as a "kitchen schani".

Ernst, who previously had no intention of entering into a relationship with Iris, now seems drawn to his ex-affair. When he notices Wickerl's interest in her, a power struggle again develops between the brothers. When Iris becomes pregnant again, the question arises who the father is.

The television film was produced in 2003 by Dor Film, directed by Wolfgang Murnberger and based on a script by Uli Brée and Rupert Henning . The music comes from Stefan Bernheimer. The first broadcast took place on November 23, 2003 on ORF .
