Susa Meyer

Susa Meyer (* 1966 in Hamburg ) is a German actress and singer who mainly works in Austria.

Life

Susa Meyer trained at the Hamburg Stage School of Music, Dance and Drama , which she completed in 1990. At the Theater Aachen she appeared in West Side Story with a first engagement in Vienna had the Raimund Theater in Grease where they in the musical Beauty and the Beast , Hair and Mamma Mia was experiencing. At the Theater an der Wien she played in the musicals Elisabeth and Chicago .

Since the 2015/16 season she has been a member of the ensemble at the Theater in der Josefstadt , where she appeared in Der Gockel as Armandine in 2015 and in Totes Gebirge in the role of Theresa Mölbing in 2016. In 2015 she played Jacqueline in La cage aux folles at the Wiener Kammerspiele , in 2016 she played the role of Marie Verneuil in the world premiere of the stage version of Monsieur Claude and his daughters , in 2017/18 she played the role of prosecutor Nelson in Ferdinand von Schirach's play Terror and in the World premiere of the stage version of All About Eve by Christopher Hampton the role of the cloakroom attendant Birdie and in the season 2018/19 in the world premiere of Daniel Glattauer's comedy Vier Stern Stunden the role of Mariella Brem and in the crime comedy Eight Women by Robert Thomas the role of Gaby . At the Theater in der Josefstadt she also played the role of Annette Reille in Der Gott des Gemetzels.

In the TV film trilogy Brothers with Wolfgang Böck , Erwin Steinhauer and Andreas Vitásek , she played the role of Iris Rovan.
