Dorothea Neff Prize

The Dorothea Neff Prize is a theater prize from the Vienna Volkstheater , donated by the Bank for Labor and Economy and Österreichische Postsparkasse AG (BAWAG) . Since 2011 - after the rededication of the Karl Skraup Prize  - it has been awarded in five categories (best directing performance of a season, best acting performance of a season, best young actor performance of a season, audience favorite and special prize). In addition, the Mitten im Leben - Prize of BAWAG PSK for outstanding humanitarian commitment has been awarded since then. The prize money is 3,000 euros each.

The award is named after the actress Dorothea Neff (1903–1986).
