action
Investment advisor and fund manager Chris Melzer has big problems. His boss blames him for the loss of 158 million euros and the public prosecutor's office has already taken the first legal steps. His accounts are already banned, his boss suspended him and his friends suddenly pull away from him. Only cleaning lady Carmen feels sorry for him. So far, the two of them had hardly spoken to each other, but when Carmen wants to clean Melzer's office as usual that evening, she can just save him from hanging himself. Inevitably, he begins to philosophize about life with the cleaning lady.
Since he is threatened with pre-trial detention because of the alleged embezzlement, the kindhearted Carmen takes him home with her. The unorthodox family life of Carmen causes problems for the picky man, however, he can only cope with it with difficulty. While Carmen goes to work, he hides in her apartment, takes care of the housework and looks after Carmen's children. The manager, used to success, learns that Carmen also has a big problem, because she “owes” the father of her children to bankruptcy proceedings that have been initiated against her. Since Chris is a financial expert, he can help her in this matter and Carmen in turn helps him to take action against his employer, who is obviously behind the financial fraud. She persuades Chris to counterattack, to sneak into the company Christmas party disguised in a Santa suit and to confront his boss Wachter.
However, Chris is recognized early and taken away by the police. The combative Carmen now takes matters into her own hands. She observes Wachter and his assistant. So she witnesses how the two want to remove the documents from the front company through which they transferred the funds abroad. Unnoticed, she clears all files again and when the alleged break-in is reported to the police the next morning, the documents that prove Chris Melzer's innocence are found back on the spot.
After Chris is rehabilitated, the first thing he does is enjoy his regained freedom. But he misses Carmen and the children. He travels after her and wants to thank her. But with the gifts he brought with him, he achieved exactly the opposite with the proud Carmen. Only when he publicly acknowledges her is there a happy ending.

Reviews
Rainer Tittelbach from Tittelbach.tv said about this comedy: “Austria's successful author Uli Brée wrote an intelligent feel-good script, combined sequences of dialogues in the best screwball comedy style with the courage to be romantic, and Wolfgang Murnberger kept the whole thing flowing, with good timing and an eye Staged for the Christmas ambience. Wonderful couple: Misel Maticevic and Ursula Strauss! "
Prisma stated: “A not always accurate, but well-acted mix of romance and comedy. Especially Misel Maticevic and Ursula Strauss [...] know how to convince here as an unequal, if somewhat over-the-top couple in search of truth. "
