Anke Berthold initially worked as an assistant editor in the early 1990s; since 1997 she has been working as a freelance editor. In 2003 she was awarded the German Television Prize ( Best Editing ) for the films Hunt for the Flame Man and A Nightmare of 3½ Kilos .
