action

Wolfgang, a trained men's outfitter, well dressed and always careful about his clothes and his choice of words, has work again. He advises pensioners in good faith for the company Maxima Plus Finanz AG in matters of asset investment and promises eleven percent returns. His buddy Günther - long-term unemployed, ex-zookeeper, beefy and coarse, exactly the opposite of Wolfgang's type - would like to save seals in Canada from being slaughtered. To do this, he completed 60 hours of English in the community college and knows everything about Canada.

The only thing missing for his happiness is money. He hopes so much that the employment office will grant him the travel allowance. Ms. Radermacher from the job center thwarted his plans. She mercilessly arranges for him a 1.50 euro job as a driver and help in a shared apartment for the disabled. The residents are Tina, the recalcitrant teenager with Down syndrome, Robert, who is in a wheelchair, and Hans, an autistic teenager with Asperger's syndrome. Since the supervisor Urte has a virus, Günther has to look after the trio on his first day alone. In the meantime, Wolfgang learns about the fraudulent machinations of the company Maxima Plus Finanz AG through the media. His problem is that he has already indulged a lot in anticipation of his high commission and thus has some lousy things on his account. His wife is not allowed to know about it.

Günther quickly finds the saving solution to her money problems. Due to his Asperger's Syndrome, Hans can recognize the logic of random series of numbers. He loves exact daily routines and has a special feel for the correct numbers in roulette. Wolfgang, Günther and the three flat share residents dress up elegantly, pack the donations from Wolfgang's dear wife and daughter with them and go to the casino together and experience some exciting situations.

criticism

“If any comedy looks like Loriot is making a British social comedy, it's A Schnitzel for Everyone. Without being clichéd, a great, black-humored milieu study of the Ruhr area succeeds. "

- Heike Hupertz from the Frankfurter Allgemeine

“Irresistibly charming comedy ... The magnificent dialogues alone make this film absolutely worth seeing. But it also has other strengths! "

- Ulrich Feld from the Frankfurter Neue Presse
