Astrid Meyerfeldt

Astrid Meyerfeldt (* 1960 in Rostock ) is a German theater and film actress .

Education and career

Astrid Meyerfeldt received her acting training at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Rostock . After her first engagement at the ( Theater of Friendship ) in Berlin, Frank Castorf engaged her at the Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz , where she was a permanent member of the ensemble from 1992 to 2008. Here she played numerous roles in productions by Frank Castorf , Christoph Schlingensief , Leander Haußmann , René Pollesch , Andreas Kriegenburg and Johan Simons . Between 2008 and 2013 she performed as a freelance actress at Theater Oberhausen , Theater Basel , Theater Kiel and Staatstheater Stuttgart .

Meyerfeldt directed the play I hired Tristan und Isolde at the Basel Theater (2012) . From 2013 to 2018 Armin Petras Meyerfeldt was engaged at the State Theater Stuttgart. For her role Marianne in the play Scenes from a Marriage by Ingmar Bergman - "Ehepartner" Joachim Król , director: Jan Bosse - she received the nomination for best actress in 2014 from the German Theater Prize Der Faust . After the engagement in Stuttgart Meyerfeldt works again as Freelance actress, for example at the Berliner Ensemble , Deutsches Theater Berlin and Schauspiel Köln .

She is known to a larger audience through her participation in numerous film, television and radio play productions. Among other things, Meyerfeldt played the role of the lover in the music video You have the group Rammstein .
