Claudia Schreiber
Claudia Schreiber (born July 30, 1958 in Grebenstein - Schachten as Claudia Klemme) is a German author and journalist . Her best-known work is the multiple award-winning novel Emmas Glück , which was filmed in 2005 with Jördis Triebel and Jürgen Vogel in the leading roles.
Career
After studying journalism , pedagogy and sociology in Göttingen and Mainz from 1979 to 1985 (MA), she worked from 1985 to 1988 as an editor , reporter and presenter for SWF and from 1988 to 1991 for ZDF (including logo! ). After stays abroad in Moscow (1992–1996) and Brussels (1996–1998), she now lives as a freelance writer in Cologne .
In her 2003 novel Emmas Glück , she took motifs from her hometown in North Hesse . The book was filmed in 2005 by Sven Taddicken with Jördis Triebel and Jürgen Vogel in the leading roles. A radio play version was staged by Norddeutscher Rundfunk , with Gabriela Maria Schmeide as Emma and Monica Bleibtreu as Henner's mother. Emma's happiness has now been translated into ten languages. The Wendland Free Stage brought the material to the stage in the adaptation of K. Wittstamm and C. Harlanal's one-woman play, the Mecklenburg State Theater Parchim staged this version in 2013.
Her children's book Sultan und Kotzbrocken , published in 2004, was translated into four languages and first adapted in the Theater Junge Generation in Dresden . The theater buddies Ludwigshafen staged a bilingual version of the play. The production won several awards at the 19th International Children's Theater Festival in Hamadan , Iran . The prizes for “Best Play”, “Best Director”, “Best Actress”, “Best Actor” and “Best Costumes” went to the two ensembles. The Puppet Theater Plauen / Zwickau adapted and played the children's book in its own version.
