criticism

The logo! Broadcast on the terrorist attacks in Paris in November 2015 generated extensive criticism. The program tried to explain the reasons for this and other terrorist attacks in France. The contribution suggests that the hatred of the Islamists can be traced back to French colonial rule and therefore implies that the French are complicit in the attack. However, further backgrounds and causes of Islamism as well as the goals of the Islamist attackers are not explained further. The contribution was removed from the ZDF media library after the criticism and is to be revised.
