Tim Schreder
Tim Schreder (born January 28, 1991 in Düsseldorf ) is a German television presenter , reporter , author and film producer .
Life
Tim Schreder grew up in Düsseldorf. Since the age of 14, Schreder has appeared regularly as a magician and entertainer and has thus also won cabaret prizes and first attention. Schreder also played in the youth ensemble of the Schauspielhaus Düsseldorf . In 2010 he completed his Abitur at the Max Planck Gymnasium in Düsseldorf . Since 2011 studied Schreder at the University of Hagen economics . In 2015, he completed his studies in economics with a Bachelor of Science . He has been an ambassador for the Reading Foundation since 2016 .
Tim Schreder has been the presenter and reporter for the children's news program logo! at KiKA . For this purpose, he reported on the 2012 Summer Olympics in London and the presidential elections in the USA, in 2013 on the federal election in Berlin, in 2014 on the soccer World Cup in Brazil, in 2015 on the refugee crisis across Europe and in 2016 on Chernobyl in Ukraine. Since 2018 he has been one of the moderators on the WDR- produced program Live nach Neun , which is broadcast on the first on weekdays directly after the morning magazine. In addition, Schreder moderates various events across Germany and appears as a magician and entertainer. Since January 2015 he has been producing his own YouTube channel , on which he provides information about the latest news and knowledge topics, and he also shows vlogs .
In September 2017, Schreder and his colleague Jennifer Sieglar published the non-fiction book I don't understand the world anymore at Piper Verlag , in which 24 current news topics are explained in an understandable and entertaining way. For several weeks the book was in the top 10 of the Spiegel bestseller list in the paperback non-fiction category. In 2018, Schreder published the non-fiction book Das neue Geld ( The New Money) at Piper , in which he explains crypto currencies such as Bitcoin in an understandable way and explains which social changes they could trigger.
In 2016 Tim Schreder founded the production company erzaehlfabrik together with Christian Hill , with which he produces films, especially social media formats, for various customers.
In July 2019, Schreder and Jennifer Sieglar married . You live near Frankfurt am Main .
